Tarif is a chartered professional engineer who enjoys solving real‑world civil engineering challenges — from stormwater and flood modelling to roads, 3 Waters, earthworks, and subdivision design. Over the years, Tarif has worked on dozens of residential, commercial, and community projects across Auckland and Northland, gaining experience from concept design all the way through to construction monitoring.

Tarif values good communication, collaboration, and practical engineering solutions. He takes pride in supporting clients, working alongside contractors, and helping younger engineers grow in their roles. For Tarif, engineering is about people, purpose, and building things that last — and he brings that mindset into work every day.

Outside of work, Tarif enjoys spending quality time with his kids and playing social cricket.
